PHC Radio Canada's Punk station on the net brings you all the tunes you want to hear. Tune In to PHC Radio for less talk and more bands. If you want to know more about the bands then have a look in our bands areas as we link the bands name to the bands web page, we only list bands we play on PHC Radio. We are dedicated to showcasing Canadian talent. There are tons of talented bands from across Canada and here is the place to check them out. We also play a wide range of music from all over so you get the best of all worlds. So tune in, you're ears won't bleed that much, honest. We play Old and New Punk, Oi, SKA, Mod, Goth, Reggae, Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Metal and Hardcore. Bands from Canada and bands from outside of Canada are played on PHC Radio. PHC Radio is funded and run by Frekwalda & SK8 and exists for the sole purpose of
promoting Old and New Punk, Oi, SKA, Mod, Goth, Reggae, Rockabilly,
Psychobilly, Metal and Hardcore music.
No commercial revenue is derived
from our audio stream and no royalties or other fees will be paid to the
artists featured on our audio stream or on this web site. All music
featured on our audio stream has been provided to PHC Radio by the
artist or a representative for the artist or purchased for airplay on
PHC Radio for promotional benefit to the artist and the Punk community
at large.
All artists, labels and those hired to represent them which
provide promotional materials to PHC Radio agree to waive all rights to
fees derived from the broadcast of this material on our audio streams
or by featuring this material on our web site.
PHC Radio is not an MP3 site. We do not offer downloads of music or a
pay audio or video streams. We do not sell or distribute audio
recordings.

CONTROL - ‘Hooligan Rock ‘n’ Roll’ : Band Bio :
A brand new, hard-hitting, British Streetpunk act with plenty to say, Control formed in London in 2008 and have been taking the punk scene by storm.
Their album ‘Hooligan Rock ‘n’ Roll’ has been the fastest selling debut album on Step-1 Records (distributed in the USA by Hepcat/Infinity Entertainment and Cargo) and is being released on vinyl in America by Longshot Music in October to coincide with their first North American tour.
Even before they’d had anything released the track ‘Home Fires Burning’ was included in the movie ‘Green Street 2’, filmed in California by Odd Lot Entertainment.
Longshot Music released a split soundtrack single to accompany the film in April. Control’s tracks were ‘Home Fires Burning’ and ‘Stand Up & Fight’, the other band was Australia’s top Streetpunk band Marching Orders.
The Business’ Micky Fitz saw Control at the House of Oi!, became a big fan and chose the album’s title track ‘Hooligan Rock ‘n’ Roll’ to be released as a split picture disc single with The Business on Germany’s People Like You Records.
Other highlights include a storming debut appearance at this year’s Rebellion Punk Festival: newcomers Control pulling a huge crowd for their first major show – Big Cheese #115, appearing twice on Garry Bushell’s Rancid Sounds radio show, supporting Last Resort, 4-Skins, Peter & The Test Tube Babies, The Varukers and Anti Nowhere League.
Forthcoming dates include: Italy, Holland, Belgium, Finland and a tour of USA supporting The Business. Plans are in the pipeline to tour Australia.

Control Hooligan Rock'N'Roll debut album : Hooligan Rock'n'Roll came out on Cd on Step 1 2009 and is available through Cargo Music / Cargoland, Interpunk and all usual stockists. It comes out on colored vinyl on Longshot Records on 22nd October too and available everywhere.
